For this print I was inspired by my college town and collectable matchboxes. I think matchboxes are a great keepsake, but the places in the town often didn't have any. I thought a poster print would be just as fun of a reminder of one of my favorite places and started by listing out some places in the town I want to remember. I made a sketch and did some research on vintage matchbox designs, then got to work. I found a color palette to reference as you can see on my process below.
